Coptic Monuments
Al-Malak Monastery
Situated on the Naklun Mountain, 16 km south of Fayoum city. There are several caves in the vicinity that were once inhabited by early Christian monks, in addition to two old chapels. The Monstery dates back to the 5th century.
Al-Azab Monastery
In Al-Azab village about 8 km from Fayoum city, lies the monastery. It contains the shrine of Saint Abram who was a bishop of Fayoum, it obtains an old and a new church and a coptic Museum.
